Hello!

This is the last weekday of my holidays, it's been a terrific two weeks off that included a trip to Thunder Bay to see my daughter (and some sites) and visits with several friends that I don't see often enough.

I also – finally – listed my cards in my etsy shop! I'm starting to learn the ins and out of selling online, how to promote and the value of the online community. (Thanks Jamie!)

Illustration Friday, on Wednesday...

Every once in a while I go to the Illustration Friday site and get caught up in looking at the submissions, checking out many of the illustrators websites/blogs/etsy stores. I keep waiting for and idea to show up when I see the weekly topic. A lightbulb when off when I say the latest one "Breakfast". I modified one of my greeting card illustrations and, voilà, I had one!

So here is my humble submission... happy birthday bird became the early bird.

Once upon a time I started a blog...

I really didn't think it was going to be so difficult getting at this on a regular basis! Here it is a year and a half later. To try to get back on the blogging wagon I thought I would simplify things but posting a public link to the Facebook album that has my greeting card collection:
